Point Loma Vet - Dr. Cardeiro knew from an early age that she had a strong interest in pet welfare. During high school, he started working at an animal hospital. A native of California, he attended U.C.S.D. and earned a bachelor's degree in biology. Although her academic achievements were taken seriously, she found time for extracurricular activities such as show jumping, running the beaches of Delmar Beach, playing on California's first women's intercollegiate rugby team, dominating indoor water polo and cooking. fellow students.
After graduating from U.C.S.D., Dr. Cardeiro worked at the VA Hospital in La Jolla to assist with kidney dialysis research. He attended veterinary school at U.C. Davis. He spent summers in a kidney research lab and worked at U.C. In the departments of dermatology and pathology. Davis. He began a small animal clinical practice in Northern California and developed specialties in surgery, radiology, dentistry and dermatology. Missing the beaches and weather of Southern California, Cardeiro returned to San Diego. He was recruited into the emergency department and was assigned as an attending physician to approximately 75 different practices over the next six years. He continued his interest in physical fitness by participating in weight training. He traveled to Australia, New Zealand and several Caribbean destinations to experience scuba diving. He regularly attends several veterinary conferences to update his medical and surgical knowledge. Dr. Cardeiro remains a very dedicated veterinarian.

Dr. Cardeiro started his family in 1988. His sons attended Sacred Heart Academy. Her oldest son, Manny, graduated in 2014 with a BA in Visual and Performing Arts. He appeared in several productions, including "Seussical" and "Beautiful Killers," and enjoyed the "lime light" at Mission Bay High School for his home movie comedy. He has made several YouTube videos. She is considering a career in physical therapy and remains very interested in acting opportunities in Los Angeles. He is a certified fitness trainer. He also continues to play baseball on the weekends in the San Diego Adult Baseball League. His youngest son, Jonathan, graduated with a bachelor's degree in hospitality management from California State Polytechnic, Pomona in June 2015. He currently works front of house at Donovan's Steak and Chop House in La Jolla and as a chef at OB Noodle House.
